“My wife and I were involved in a 4 vehicle accident in late 2011. I was following my wife as we drove separately in our cars. As traffic stopped in front of her, I saw the situation and proceeded to slow almost to a stop when a vehicle following me, obviously not aware of the situation, struck me from behind, forcing me into my wife's car and she into a truck in front of her. All the vehicles besides the truck were totaled. Two "witnesses", who were not at good vantage points to see the accident, wrote incorrect information, which unfortunately the other driver's insurance company grabbed onto in their claim their insured was not totally at fault. Our insurance company was not obtaining witness reports and other information to help us in this situation. As we had suffered injuries directly related to the accident, as well as lost both cars, we chose to hire an attorney to help navigate through the mess.
