“My wife and I were involved in a 4 vehicle accident in late 2011. I was following my wife as we drove separately in our cars. As traffic stopped in front of her, I saw the situation and proceeded to slow almost to a stop when a vehicle following me, obviously not aware of the situation, struck me from behind, forcing me into my wife's car and she into a truck in front of her. All the vehicles besides the truck were totaled. Two "witnesses", who were not at good vantage points to see the accident, wrote incorrect information, which unfortunately the other driver's insurance company grabbed onto in their claim their insured was not totally at fault. Our insurance company was not obtaining witness reports and other information to help us in this situation. As we had suffered injuries directly related to the accident, as well as lost both cars, we chose to hire an attorney to help navigate through the mess. I searched online reviews and AVVO and identified a couple possible attorneys. After meeting with Rob Kornfeld, we knew we had just hired an advocate and an experienced litigator who wouldn't be deterred by insurance company tactics. I'm so glad we did. While the long wait to conclude medical procedures and to schedule depositions took much longer than we would have hoped, in the end, at arbitration, the legal expertise of Rob Kornfeld was evident and the smoke and mirrors presented by the opposing insurance company counsel proved futile. The Arbitrator ruled 100% in our favor and we had 0% liability. The Arbitrator award was reasonable and allowed us to recover our costs and reimburse for medical expenses plus some general damages. Rob's legal staff was good at keeping us updated when we had questions and responded to my requests for copies of documents and information. Rob shared his cell number so we were able to communicate directly when key parts of our case were coming up. Rob was very frank about potential risks he saw in the case, as well as what he felt was needed to prove our points. He always asked if there were questions we wanted answered during depositions and would help explain things me or my wife didn't understand. We felt heard, supported and confident being represented by Rob Kornfeld.
