ROBERT KORNFELD -The following is a brief background of Mr. Kornfeld’s accomplishments.
Graduated from the University of Vermont in 1976 with college honors in the area of European Studies and went on to law school in 1976 at Gonzaga University Law School in Spokane, Wa. and he graduated in 1979. Mr. Kornfeld is a member of the Washington State Bar, and is also licensed to practice in the Western District of Washington federal courts and the United States Supreme Court in Washington D. C. He is also a member of the New York Bar Association.
Mr. Kornfeld is a longstanding member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association; the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and is a Master Advocate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He has served on the Washington State Trial Lawyers Ass. Editorial Board as Co-Senior Editor of Verdicts and Settlements from 1986-1989; has written many articles and published in the WSTLA Trial News; & Mr. Kornfeld has co-chaired many seminars for the Washington State Trial Lawyers Ass. in addition to have attended WSTLA seminars as a guest speaker. Mr. Kornfeld has attended and spoken at other seminars sponsored by other continuing legal education sponsored seminars by other associations.
Robert Kornfeld is experienced in trials and settlements in both state and federal courts in a variety of jurisdictions, some of which may include, Washington state, Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, and he has assisted on cases in British Columbia, Canada.
Mr. Kornfeld participates in civic activities and has served as President or on committees of homeowner boards, the SnoKing Hockey Ass., and he has coached youth soccer and ice hockey, as well as participating in both as a player in various men’s recreational associations and leagues.

Born and raised in Eastern Washington, Brian served 4 years in the military prior to returning home to attend college. Following graduation from college, Brian worked for 2 ½ years with a personal injury firm as the Business Manager and paralegal. He started law school in 1993 and graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 1996.
After working with a high-volume personal injury litigation firm, he started his own firm and ran his own practice from 1998 until mid-2004. Brian has handled hundreds of cases from start to finish, having been a paralegal, Business Manager and small law firm owner. Personal injury has been his passion since entering the field of law and is the only area of law he has practiced. Brian handles auto accidents, products liability cases, medical malpractice, construction site injury accidents, and slip and fall accidents.
He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, an Eagle member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
